ALL APPS SHOULD RUN VIA AN HTML FILE!

Note: make sure that your script files are NOT named with "-app.ts" but are running out of an HTML file.
If you made a game and are not sure how to do this, see the below document as an example/guide (open in VSCode).~~Your app will struggle to publish otherwise.
If you are having trouble running your app, please come to office hours and we'll help you!

Everyone should also have a file called project-spec.html in their project folders that includes all information outlined under "Project Guidelines".
Both this file and your app HTML file should be published and linked separately in the submission form.

Live Share in VSCode

  • Installation:  In VSCode, click on the extensions button on the left column.
  • Search for Live Share, select the first option, by Microsoft, install it, click on reload.
  • The person hosting should click on the Live Share icon, then click start collaboration session.
  • It will create a link and automatically copy it. Share this with your partner via iMessage, email, text, etc.
  • The person who will be editing remotely should click on the link, sign in with your brand new GitHub (or microsoft) account, and click on the prompt that says open Live Share in VSCode.
  • Finally, if you want to be able to write to the command line remotely, you can start typing and your partner will be prompted to grant you permission. You can now both type simultaneously!​​
